Thank you for visiting this website about the current Reserved Matters Applications for Bovis Homes and Linden Homes.

Bovis Homes and Linden Homes have prepared Reserved Matters Applications following the Outline Planning Permission and the approval of the Masterplan and Design Code for Wolborough Grange.

The two sites form part of the proposals for Wolborough Grange. Please see the Location Plan for the location of the two application sites (referred to as parcels on the plan) within the wider Wolborough Grange site.

This area of Wolborough Grange is predominantly residential and is located in the north-eastern area of the overall development, between Blackball Plantation to the south, the proposed local centre & proposed school site to the north, retained agricultural land to the west & Decoy Country Park to the east.

The Proposals


The proposals are for 41 new homes, together with associated landscaping and infrastructure. There will be a mix of 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom homes, including affordable housing. Most of the homes will be two storeys high with some 2.5 and 3 storeys. The site will be attractively landscaped and includes a children’s play area.

Parcel 2.3 Bovis Homes


Bovis Homes is proposing 45 new homes, together with associated landscaping and infrastructure. There will be a mix of 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom homes, including affordable housing. Most of the homes will be 2-storeys high with a small number of 2.5 storeys.

The site lies centrally within the wider Wolborough Grange development. Like Parcel 2.2, it will be attractively landscaped and include ornamental trees and shrubs.

Affordable Housing


The Section 106 for Wolborough Grange sets out the requirements for Affordable Housing which includes 20% of all dwellings to be affordable and of the affordable homes, the tenue split to be 70% Affordable Rent and 30% Intermediate.

Design


The densities of the new homes will vary depending on their location, with higher density proposed along the Link Road to provide a strong, continuous key frontage, and lower density development along the edges, adjacent to green spaces to reflect the rural location.
